Zulte Waregem to sell Tanzanian international to Champions League side

Het Nieuwsblad are set to see Tanzanian international Novatus Miroshi move to Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk. The 20-year-old is incredibly versatile, able to play anywhere in defence and midfield. There had been interest earlier in the transfer window from English sides Southampton and Middlesborough. However, the side from Ukraine are the only ones to have reached an agreement with Zulte Waregem, who were relegated from the Belgian Pro League last season.

Miroshi played 36 games for Zulte Waregem this season. He failed to score but did provide two assists. The 20-year-old has also been capped by the Tanzanian national team, scoring two goals for the Taifa Stars. Even though the side were relegated, Miroshi was one of the few shining lights and it is of little surprise that he is set to depart. He will get to face Belgian opposition in the Champions League, with Antwerp joining his new team in the Champions League group stages.
