Southampton and Middlesbrough interested in Zulte Waregem’s Tanzanian utility man Novatus Miroshi

According to the Daily Mail, both Southampton and Middlesbrough are interested in signing Zulte Waregem’s Novatus Miroshi. The 20-year-old Tanzanian only joined the side last summer from Israel, but has gone on to impress with his ability to play in multiple positions. So far this season, Miroshi has played central midfield, left-back and as a central defender in a back three. Despite their relegation from the Pro League, it is not surprising that the young Tanzanian is seeing interest from abroad.

Miroshi played 36 games for Zulte Waregem this season. He failed to score but did provide two assists. The 20-year-old has also been capped by the Tanzanian national team, scoring two goals for the Taifa Stars.

Another Zulte Waregem player who has been linked with a move away is Gambian winger Alieu Fadera. There are a number of Pro League sides interested in signing the winger, while clubs abroad such as Manchester United are said to be monitoring the player.
