Ajax have completed the signing of Sivert Mannsverk from Molde FK. The 21-year-old Norwegian midfielder has signed a five year contract at the Johan Cruyff Arena, valid until June 2028. Mannsverk joins Ajax having helped his former side win the 2022 Norwegian title and 2021 Norwegian Cup.

Born in 2002, Mannsverk kicked off his career with Sogndal, where he featured 54 times. In 2021, the Norway youth international moved to Molde FK, where he developed into a crucial first team player. Mannsverk featured 87 times for Molde, scoring eight goals and providing two assists within those games.

Now, Sivert Mannsverk is an Ajax player. The defensive midfielder has become the Amsterdam clubs 12th signing of the summer, after the likes of Branco van den Boomen, Chuba Akpom, Carlos Borges, Josip Sutalo and Georges Mikautadze among others. Mannsverk has plenty of potential and will certainly be one to watch when he’s given game time this season.
