Konyaspor and Trabzonspor possible destinations for Dino Hotic

As reported by Voetbalkrant, Dino Hotic is set to depart Cercle Brugge on deadline day. The Bosnian attacking midfielder is likely to move to Turkey, with both Trabzonspor and Konyaspor interested in signing him. The 27-year-old joined Cercle in the winter of 2020 from Slovenian side NK Maribor for around €1.20m.

Despite being born in and capped by Slovenia, Hotic opted to represent Bosnia at senior level. So far he has been capped four times by the national side.

Since joining Cercle Hotic has made 101 appearances in Green and Black, scoring 17 goals and providing 16 assists. It appears that the last goal that Hotic scored for Cercle will be the late winner against Oostende last weekend.

While Hotic may be leaving, Cercle are able to still count on the services of Jesper Daland, despite the player being linked with a move to Monaco. Over the World Cup break the Norwegian central defender trained with Cercle’s parent club and was even involved in a friendly for the Ligue 1 side. Daland recently scored a late winner against Gent to give Cercle a dramatic 3-2 victory, with the side having already squandered a 2-0 lead.
