Manchester United are going to make what has been described as a massive bid for Ajax’s Antony in the coming days.
Antony has been linked with the British club all summer but in recent weeks such links have cooled with Ajax’s asking price, reported to be around €100 million, thought to have deterred them.
However, it now looks like Erik ten Hag’s new side have decided they’re willing to splash the cash to reunite the Brazilian and the Dutch manager.
Sky Sports have reported that they’re going to offer Ajax a huge amount of money for him before the end of the week to try and bring him to Old Trafford.
Whether it will be an amount that meets the price tag the Dutch club have put on their player is unclear, but given they reportedly have already had a €60 million offer rejected, it most likely won’t be worlds away.
