Anderlecht are willing to pay Bayern Munich’s asking price of €10 million to bring Joshua Zirkzee back to the club permanently and are now the frontrunners in the battle to sign him.
Zirkzee was hugely impressive on loan at Anderlecht last season, scoring 16 goals and getting nine assists in 34 Pro League starts.
Given that, it was no surprise when it emerged that they were keen to bring him back on a permanent basis in this transfer window.
They’d have to pay a pretty price to do so though with a number of other sides, including Club Brugge and PSV, also interested in the striker.
According to Het Laatste Nieuws, they’re willing to do so, informing Bayern that they’re willing to pay the asking price of €10 million.
Zirkzee himself is reportedly keen on the move and as a result, Anderlecht are now his most likely next destination.
