According to FARpost, Anderlecht are one of a number of sides monitoring the situation of Percy Tau. The former Club Brugge player, who also played a season with Anderlecht on loan from Brighton, is currently playing for Egyptian giants Al Ahly. the 29-year-old left Brighton for Al Ahly in the summer of 2021 for around €1.80m.
Tau, who began his career with Sundowns in South Africa, joined Brighton for €3.20m in the summer of 2018. Due to visa and work permit restrictions, he spent most of his time with Brighton on loan in Belgium. During his time in the Belgian Pro League, Tau played 38 games and scored 10 goals whilst also providing nine assists.
The South African international only managed six appearances for Brighton before moving to Egypt. Tau has scored 15 goals for Al Ahly in 59 games, while also providing 10 assists. According to Transfermarkt, the player is currently valued at €1.50m and is under contract until 2024.
