First goal for Leicester City loanee not enough for FC Volendam as his brother scores a hat-trick for FC Utrecht

Taylor Booth was in fine form for FC Utrecht as he grabbed a hat-trick in their 4-2 win over FC Volendam. The 22-year-old grabbed his first to make it 1-1 after 38 minutes, adding two more in the second half. Remarkably, prior to him scoring his brother Zach had opened to scoring for the away side. The 19-year-old is on loan at the Eredivisie side from EFL Championship club Leicester City. This was his first goal in 15 games since joining during the summer.

Older brother Taylor joined Utrecht back in 2022 from Bayern Munich. He left the United States in 2020 to join the German giants, but only made one appearance for the senior team. Instead, he spent most of his time with the second team and a brief spell on loan at SKN St Poelten in Austria. He has played 41 times for his current side, scoring six goals. These were his first goals of the season. Taylor has also been capped at international level by the USMNT.
