Feyenoord say goodbye to loanees Oussama Idrissi and Jacob Rasmussen whilst the future of Sebastian Szymański is undecided

Feyenoord have said goodbye to six players on Wednesday following the end of contracts and loan deals. The Rotterdammers have reported through the club website that Oussama Idrissi, Jacob Rasmussen, Ofir Marciano, Timon Wellenreuther, Tein Troost and Sebastian Szymański will leave the club. Each player received a personal photo plate as a thank you and was addressed by head coach Arne Slot.

Moroccan winger Oussama Idrissi will return to Sevilla following his season-long loan in South Rotterdam. The 27-year-old played a crucial part in Feyenoord’s Eredivisie title win. He scored seven goals and provided eight assists in 38 appearances this season. Danish defender Jacob Rasmussen will return to Fiorentina following the end of his loan. The 26-year-old featured 12 times for Feyenoord this season.

Sebastian Szymański has also said goodbye, but Feyenoord are keen to keep the Polish international permanently. Having joined the club on loan from Dynamo Moscow last summer, Szymański has scored nine goals and provided four assists in 29 league appearances. He’s been a vital part of the clubs success this season. Feyenoord could potentially pursue a permanent move for the 24-year-old midfielder.
