Club Brugge extend Antonio Nusa’s contract through to 2027

Club Brugge have announced that talented Norwegian teenager Antonio Nusa has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the club until 2027. The 18-year-old joined the club from Norwegian club Stabaek in 2021 for around €3m, having made 13 appearances for the club and scoring three goals.

Nusa has scored three times for Club Brugge in 31 games, helping them win the title last season. The teenager also made his Champions League debut this season, scoring against Porto in Club Brugge’s 4-0 win over the Portuguese giants.

With the likely departures of Tajon Buchanan and Noa Lang in the summer, Nusa may well be given a breakout season during the 2023/2024 campaign. Many have been desperate to see more of the highly talented Norwegian youngster, so with less players in font of him in the pecking order we may get to see more of Nusa next year.

Currently, Club Brugge are about to start the Belgian Pro League play-offs. They qualified for the title play-offs after a 7-0 win over Eupen on the final day, which, alongside Gent’s shock loss to Oostende, saw them finish in fourth place.
