Inter set to sign Tajon Buchanan for €15m

HLN are reporting that Tajon Buchanan is set to leave Club Brugge to join Inter for €15m. The Canadian winger has been linked with a number of Italian clubs in recent months, but it appears that Inter have beaten them all to his signature. Nothing has been made official yet, but HLN are reporting that a verbal agreement is in place between all parties.

Buchanan, who was part of the Canadian team that made the Qatar World Cup, joined Club Brugge in January 2022 from New England Revolution. He has gone on to make 45 appearances for the club, scoring twice. The 24-year-old is able to play on either wing, as well as in a full-back capacity. His willingness to do the defensive work alongside the attacking play has been what stood out, despite the low goals and assist numbers.

Club Brugge are also looking likely to lose Noa Lang this season, as the Dutch international finally gets his big move. They have already brought in Michal Skoras from Lech Poznan, while also being linked to moves for two Kortrijk players in Algerian international Abdelkahar Kadri and Japanese defender Tsuyoshi Watanabe.
