Ajax’s Mohammed Kudus refusing to train to try and force Everton move

Mohammed Kudus is refusing to train at Ajax to try and force the club to let him leave for Everton.

Everton have been trying to secure the services of Kudus for the past few weeks and, keen for more playing time, the midfielder wants to join the English club.

However, the Eredivisie champions have rejected the approaches, having no intention to let him go, and with just a day left of the transfer window, Kudus has taken matters into his own hands.

Taking a leaf out of Antony’s book, he has refused to train to try and force the club to change their mind and sell him as the Brazilian winger did, as per Mike Verweij of De Telegraaf.

Ajax remain adamant that he won’t be allowed to leave though and it seems unlikely that he will join Everton as he wants to, at least in this window.

However, things may change once the signing of Florian Grillistch is confirmed.
