Zulte Waregem looking to sign Paide Linnameeskond’s talented Gambian striker Abdoulie Ceesay

Sacha Tavolieri is reporting that Zulte Waregem are working on a deal to bring in Abdoulie Ceesay from Paide Linnameeskond in the Estonian league. The 20-year-old has been in fantastic form for the side this season, scoring an impressive 13 league goals in just 15 games. The striker has also grabbed five assists in that time.

Ceesay is currently on loan at the Estonian side from Gambian club Real de Banjul. His loan is up in January of 2025. Paide also had a brief run in qualifying for the Europa Conference League. The striker also scored three goals in six games during qualification, giving him 17 goals in 23 games overall. Tavolieri is reporting that Zulte Waregem have offered €175K, as well as bonuses and a 10% sell on fee. The deal is very much still being worked on between both clubs and the player.

Zulte Waregem are currently top of the Belgian second tier as they look to win promotion back to the Pro League, having been relegated two seasons ago.
