Wydad Casablanca interested in becoming Didier Lamkel Ze’s sixth team in 16 months

Het Nieuwsblad are reporting that Moroccan giants Wyad Casablanca are interested in bringing Kortrijk attacker Didier Lamkel Ze to the club. Lamkel Ze, who only joined Kortrijk in the summer from Antwerp, told reporters back in November that he wanted to leave the club, saying he was better than Kortrijk.

In 10 matches for the struggling side, Ze has only scored once and provided two assists. One of those assists came against his former side Antwerp, in which is post match celebrations that went viral via social media landed the player in trouble. The forward spent last season on loan at FC Metz, where he scored three times in nine matches. In the past 16 months the Cameroonian has played for Antwerp, Dunajska Streda, Khimki, FC Metz and Kortrijk.

Under new manager Bern Storck, Kortrijk are beginning to find form again. They have beaten both leaders Genk and OH Leuven since the World Cup break. The club have also been active in the transfer window, signing young defenders Martin Wasinski and Christalino Atemona to bolster their back line. At the other end, they brought in Slovakian international winger Martin Regali from Slovakian side Ruzomberok.
