Wout Faes agrees to potential Leicester City summer departure

Leicester City and Wout Faes are set to part ways at the end of this season. According to reports from Sacha Tavolieri, the bottom side in the Premier League will look to get rid of a number of players to aid the financial burden of their potential relegation.

Wout Faes is one of those rumoured to be ushered out the door. The Belgian international is under contract until June 2027, yet the defender has reached an agreement with Leicester City to facilitate his departure in the event of an interesting offer.

This notion has reportedly attracted the interest of several European clubs in Italy and Germany, with Lazio being alleged to have registered the most interest so far. The 26-year-old Faes could leave the Foxes at half the price of his €20m market value (Transfermarkt).
