World Cup could boost Noa Lang’s transfer prospects as Leeds and AC Milan remain interested

Voetbalkrant are reporting that AC Milan and Leeds remain interested in signing Club Brugge’s Dutch attacker Noa Lang. It appeared a certainty that Lang would move on from Club Brugge in the summer, yet he remained at the club for the first half of the season. Lang lost his place in the side to Kamal Sowah, who impressed both domestically and in Europe, earning himself a call up to the Ghana squad for the World Cup.

Lang was included in the Dutch 26 man squad for the World Cup, however he did not come off the bench as Oranje beat Senegal in their opening match. If Lang can get some minutes at the World Cup and impress with his performances, than this may tempt clubs to put an offer in for the attacker.

After their win against Senegal, the Dutch will face Ecuador, who beat hosts Qatar 2-0 to kick the tournament off. Oranje will then face hosts Qatar in their final group match on the 29th of November.
