Wolves looking to recall Anderlecht top scorer Fabio Silva in January

According to Het Nieuwsblad and the Atheltic, Wolves are looking into the possibility of bringing back Portuguese striker Fabio Silva in the January. Silva has scored six goals for the Mauves this season, making him the clubs top scorer. Anderlecht claimed in the summer that there wasn’t an option for Wolves to recall the striker.

Wolves have only scored 8 goals in 14 matches this season, therefore it is of little surprise that the club are looking to bring the inform striker back to England in January.

If Silva was to leave, it would mean that Anderlecht would be left with just three recognised strikers, being Benito Raman, youngster Mario Stroeykens and on loan Inter Milan attacker Sebastiano Esposito. They have only scored four goals between them.

Anderlecht were recently linked to Croatian striker Dion Drena Beljo of NK Osijek, who could cost them around 5 million euros. It is unclear whether the club would have the financial capabilities to bring Beljo in during January.
