Who are the best Belgian Pro League EA FC25 rated players?

A new edition of EA FC is about to release and the ratings for the players have been revealed. We look at who the best rated player on each of the Belgian Pro League teams are on this years edition of EA FC25.

Anderlecht – Jan Vertonghen

Former Spurs man Jan Vertonghen remains highly rated in this years edition with a overall of 78, with an 80 average for defence and a 79 on average for physicality. Given he is the most accomplished of the Anderlecht squad this is no surprise, but he only just beats out Anders Dreyer who comes in at a rating of 77.

Beerschot – Colin Dagba

Former PSG man Colin Dagba and club captain are the two highest rated players for Beerschot with a 69 overall this season. While Sanusi is understandable, Dagba has yet to show that he is one of the better players for Beerschot yet this season. Behind them is Faisal Al Ghamdi of Saudi Arabia at 67, who is still awaiting his work permit to play for the club.

Cercle Brugge – Kevin Denkey

No surprises to see Kevin Denkey as Cercle’s best player on the game. The Togolese forward is rated 76 after topping the scoring charts last season. He has seen a huge boost in his physical stats as well as his shooting, which reflects the season he just had. Behind him his club captain Thibo Somers who has been rated at 73 by the develepors.

Charleroi – Adem Zorgane

Many are shocked that Algerian international Zorgane is still at Charleroi. He gets a rating of 76 this season, with high physical numbers and passing, which has always been his best attribute. He is someway ahead of Oday Dabbagh who, despite an indifferent season in front of goal, has been given a rating of 71.

Club Brugge – Hans Vanaken

As always, Hans Vanaken leads Club Brugge this season remaining around the overall of 80. He comes in ahead of goalkeeper Simon Mignolet and Andreas Skov Olsen who are both at 78. Vanaken’s strengths remain his technical ability rather than any of his physical attributes. His rating also means he is the joint best rated Pro League player on EA FC 25 this season.

FCV Dender – Roman Kvet

Dender’s on loan midfielder leads the way with a rating of 69, reflecting that he is the most well known of their side in terms of video games given he has been on previous editions. Bryan Goncalves is just behind on 68, while the sides star striker Bruny Nsimba is only rated at 65, not even one of their fifth best players on the game.

Genk – Bryan Heynen

The man who celebrated 300 games for Genk and the sides club captain comes in at 77 to top Genk’s players. He is ahead of fellow midfielder Patrik Hrosovsky who is down at 74 overall. Heynen is good in all categories outside of his pace, reflecting his well rounded midfield game.

Gent – Sven Kums, Stefan Mitrovic, Jordan Torunarigha, Tsuyoshi Watanabe

Despite getting on in years, the developers have decided to keep Sven Kums as one of the best players in Belgium and for Gent. Kums is rated at 74, alongside a trio of defenders in Stefan Mitrovic, Jordan Torunarigha and Tsuyoshi Watanabe. While it is understandable having the three defenders, who are of a similar level, rated as such, the Kums rating is not as clear.

Kortrijk – Brecht Dejaegere

New man Brecht Dejaegere leads the way for Kortrijk with a rating of 74 this season. The new man was brought in to bring extra quality and experience in the midfield areas for the side. The clubs star creator Abdelkahar Kadri comes in just behind with a rating of 72, mainly supported by a 78 average when it comes to technical ability.

KV Mechelen – Rob Schoofs

Club captain Rob Schoofs is the unsurprising player leading Mechelen on the game this season. The midfielder, who is largely underrated outside of Belgium, has been given a rating of 75 overall. Wingers Kerim Mrabti and Nikola Storm are just behind him, both coming it with overall ratings of 72.

OH Leuven – Youssef Maziz and Siebe Schrijvers

Youssef Maziz was a great signing for OH Leuven last season and that is reflected on this years game, with the midfielder being given a 72 overall. He is joined by Siebe Schrijvers, who after starting as a more advanced player has found himself well equipped to playing in a deeper central role. Both are just ahead of club captain Mathieu Maertens at 71 overall.

Antwerp – Toby Alderweireld

Another former Spurs man on the list, the veteran Toby Alderweireld joins Hans Vanaken with a rating of 80. The club captain has maintained a high level despite his advancing years and, touch wood, has stayed relatively injury free during his time with Antwerp. Behind him are striker Vincent Janssen and Jean Butez on 77, an ironic rating given that Butez is unlikely to feature again for the club despite not having moved in the summer.

Sint Truiden – Shogo Taniguchi

Defender Shogo Taniguchi has certainly helped improve the Sint Truiden defence in recent weeks, and he is the sides best player on the game with a rating of 72. The veteran Japanese defender joins a club that is known for investing in talent from the Asian national. He is just ahead of the sides best attacking player in Ryyotaro Ito who comes in at a rating of 71.

Standard Liege – Arnaud Bodart

This is the strangest one on the list given that Bodart has been frozen out and, like Butez at Antwerp, will not play this season. He gets a rating of 74, 10 points above the sides starting goalkeeper in Matthieu Epolo. Expect to see the latter have a big increase when the game gets updated given his performances so far this season. Behind Bodart is Greek midfielder Sotiris Alexandropoulos on 71 and David Bates on 70.

Union St Gilloise – Christian Burgess

Former Portsmouth favourite Christian Burgess is Union’s top rated player with an overall of 76. Perhaps harshly, developers have decided that Burgess is one of the slowest players in the league. The veteran English defender is the sides leader at the back and comes in just a point ahead of versatile full-back Alessio Castro Montes. Despite making a number of high profile mistakes between the sticks, goalkeeper Anthony Moris remains one of the highest rated goalkeepers in the Pro League with an overall rating of 73.

Westerlo – Serhiy Sydorchuk

Ukrainian international, Serhiy Sydorchuk is Westerlo’s top rated player with a 72 overall. Given the youthful nature of the squad, this may well change as the season goes on. Bryan Reynolds is just behind on 71, alongside Sinan Bolat which is certainly a surprise. The Turkish goalkeeper, at the age of 36, has declined in recent years and is not at the same level he was a few years ago.
