Website glitch or early transfer reveal? New Anderlecht shirt shows option to add Islam Slimani on the back

Islam Slimani proved to be a shrewd piece of business by Anderlecht on deadline day during the winter transfer window. The experienced Algerian forward, who had only scored two goals in 18 games for Brest during the first half of the season, went on to grab nine in 16 and become a crowd favourite. Initially brought in on a six month contract, there was talk that the club wanted to bring him back. However, reports have suggested that there was no agreement reached between the two parties and Slimani would pursue a contract elsewhere.

However, Sacha Tavolieri recently reported that the forward may well be returning to Anderlecht after all. Now, with the release of the clubs new shirt, the rumour mill has gone into overdrive. As revealed by Het Nieuwsblad, fans wanting to buy the new shirt can do so with an option to add the 35-year-old striker on the back. This has caused much speculation, with many wondering if this is just a system glitch, or an early transfer reveal.
