Xiamaro Thenu is the next to sign for Vitesse. The left-back, a graduate of Vitesseโs youth academy, has signed a one-year contract with an option for a further year.
The 20-year-old Thenu, who is still waiting to make his official debut, has been playing in Vitesseโs youth academy since 2020. Before that, he spent a significant portion of his development at FC Utrecht.
The left-back is known for his speed, fighting spirit, and attacking style of play and will join Vitesseโs first team immediately.
โIt feels fantastic to take this step. After all those years of training and development at the Vitesse Football Academy, this is a huge appreciation for my efforts,โ Thenu said in a statement on the Vitesse club website.
