Vitesse forward set for Stoke City instead of PSV

While reports earlier indicated that Vitesse forward Million Manhoef was set to join PSV as an injury replacement for Noah Lang, De Telegraaf have now revealed that the 22-year-old is crossing the channel to join Stoke City instead. The EFL Championship side will spend around €4m for the Dutch talent. For Vitesse, this certainly helps to alleviate the €5m they are trying to tackle at the moment.

Manhoef is a 22-year-old winger who has been with Vitesse since turning professional. The Dutch youth international has played 88 times since making his debut during the 2020/2021 season, scoring 16 goals. So far this season he has played 18 matches, starting 17 of these. Rangers were also reported interested in the young Dutch winger. Manhoef has managed to score four goals so far this season.

Vitesse are currently bottom of the Eredivisie with just three wins and three draws from 19 league games so far this season.
