Inter Milan have signed Nikée van Dijk from FC Twente for a record fee. The 22-year-old Dutch forward has signed a contract with the club until 30 June 2028.
Van Dijk played one season in Enschede, scoring a prolific 19 goals in 38 matches for the national champions. Her contract had one year remaining. Van Dijk made a huge impact after joining from Belgian side OH Leuven last year. Before that, she played for SC Heerenveen.
Writing a touching farewell post on Instagram, Van Dijk thanked her old club.
“Good memories in red. FC Twente, thank you for these moments, this amazing group, the opportunities and the time I had to learn and grow. Now it’s time for a new adventure. Good luck this season!”
Inter finished second in last season’s Serie A. Neither club has disclosed the transfer fee.
