John van den Brom is the new manager of FC Twente, as per the Algemeen Dagblad. The coach reached an agreement with the club on Monday evening, signing a contract until the end of the season.
Speaking with club media, the 58-year-old manager beamed, โIโm really looking forward to this job. It gives me the opportunity to work for a fantastic club again, near the top of the Eredivisie. Thatโs where FC Twente belongs.โ
He continued, โIโm proud to be here, and Iโm really looking forward to it. Itโs important to get acquainted with the players and staff quickly. Weโre working hard to ensure weโre as well-prepared as possible for the match against Sparta Rotterdam on Friday.โ
Van den Bromโs first act as boss was leading training on Tuesday morning.
