Tottenham set to win race for Club Brugge’s teenage talent who rejected Chelsea in the summer

HLN are reporting that Tottenham are closing in on a €30m deal for Antonio Nusa. The Norwegian teenager rejected a move to Chelsea over the summer, but now appears to be set to sign for another London team this January. Part of the deal will include Nusa being loaned back to Club Brugge for the remainder of the season.

The 18-year-old has struggled with injuries this season and as a result has seen his game time limited. In 14 league games he has two goals and two assists, with only six of these being as a starter. He also has scored one goal during the Europa Conference League. Overall, Nusa has played 62 times for Club Brugge since joining from Stabæk in Norway, scoring six goals. Prior to joining Club Brugge, Nusa had only made 11 appearances for Stabæk.

The attacker also received his first senior cap for Norway last season, going on to make four appearances and score once.
