Tottenham and Sevilla competing to sign 2005-born Ajax and Belgium talent

Tottenham Hotspur and Sevilla are looking to sign Ajax talent Stanis Idumbo Muzambo in January. Fabrizio Romano reports that both sides are set to present proposals to sign the 18-year-old attacking midfielder.

Stanis Idumbo Muzambo recently decided to turn down a new contract offer at Ajax, as some of Europe’s elite sides are keeping tabs on the Belgian youth international. So far this season, he’s featured 11 times for Jong Ajax in the Dutch second tier, scoring three times. Idumbo Muzambo has also risen through the ranks in Belgium’s youth teams, featuring five times for the U19s and six times for the U18s.

Ajax will be keen to keep the youngster, but he could end up leaving the club as a free agent if he isn’t sold in January. This is a player to keep an eye on throughout the coming month. Tottenham and Sevilla are serious contenders for his signature, but there’s no doubt that other clubs are keeping tabs on the situation.
