Teams in Italy, Germany and France show interest in Standard Liege goalkeeper Arnaud Bodart

According to Voetbalkrant, a number of European clubs are interested in Standard Liege goalkeeper Arnaud Bodart. Teams from France, Germany and Italy have reportedly shown interest in the 24-year-old goalkeeper. Bodart has spent his entire career with Standard, having come through the youth set up to the first team. The keeper is under contract at the club until 2025.

Interest in the Belgian keeper is a sign of his ability to deal with adversity, having been dropped for a period of time last season due to poor form. Under new manager Ronny Deila he has looked more confident in his decision making between the posts. This season Bodart has played 25 games in all competitions, conceding 34 goals and keeping 10 clean sheets. He has started every single league game for Standard.

While Bodart may be on the way out, another player has said he dreams of playing for the club. Kylian Hazard, brother of Eden and Thorgan, recently told reporters that Standard Liege are the side he dreams of playing for. Hazard currently plays for Molenbeek, where he has played 11 games and provided two assists.
