Stuttgart interested in making Alfred Schreuder their new manager

Stuttgart are interested in Alfred Schreuder in their search for a new manager, but the Dutchman isn’t interested in leaving Ajax.

Schreuder only took over from Erik ten Hag at the start of the season but there has already been much talk about his future since then.

After a poor run of form, many called for him to be sacked, and the possibility of him leaving for another club has now emerged too.

German publication Kicker reported that the Bundesliga club have enquired about him, and after checking with their own “strong” sources, Dutch broadcaster Ziggo have confirmed that’s the case.

However, according to their information, the manager has no interest in leaving Ajax and is still determined to achieve success there.

The other candidate Stuttgart are strongly considering is Jess Thorup, but Peter Bosz has also been linked with the role as well the available job at English Premier League side Wolves.
