LDH are reporting that Standard Liege are interested in signing Luton Town goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski. The former Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper joined the Hatters the summer of 2023 after their promotion to the Premier League. He has been the sides first choice keeper as they suffered back to back relegations. Despite having the talented youngster Matthieu Epolo on the books, Standard showed last season that they do need to bring in a more experienced goalkeeper.
Kaminski would certainly be a perfect signing in that regard. Prior to joining Blackburn in 2020 he had played for Gent, Kortrijk, Anderlecht and OH Leuven during his career. Getting Kaminski to Liege could be the biggest hurdle as the club have very little financial resources at their disposal. There have also been reports from FLW that the keeper would prefer to stay in England and find a club in the Championship. Regardless of where he ends up, it seems pretty clear that Kaminski will depart Luton Town this summer.
