Solution may have been found for the Benito Raman situation at Anderlecht

Het Nieuwsblad are reporting that Anderlecht striker Benito Raman is on his way to join OH Leuven. The Brussels side have been looking for a new destination for the striker, with his wages taking up a large amount of their player salaries. There was interest in the summer from Sint-Truiden, but the sides could not find an agreement. With his contract up in the summer, Anderlecht are not expecting to receive much if any in terms of a transfer fee.

For OHL, the former Schalke 04 striker should be exactly what they need in the battle to avoid relegation. Summer signing Jonatan Braut Brunes has struggled to force his way into Oscar Garcia’s starting eleven, spending most of his time on the bench. He has only started eight of his 18 appearances this season, scoring three goals. Midfielders Jon Torsteinsson and Youssef Maziz lead the side in terms of goals with four apiece.

Since joining Anderlecht in the summer of 2021 from Schalke, Raman has scored 19 goals in 89 games.
