Sint-Truiden promise to announce Bernd Hollerbach’s successor in April

At a fans forum the CEO of Sint-Truiden, Takayuki Tateishi, promised that a new coach would be announced by the club in April. As reported by HBVL, the Canaries CEO also said that the side were already in discussions with players ahead of the 2023/2024 season.

It was announced earlier in the year that the German coach Bernd Hollerbach would be departing the club after two seasons, a period in which he has taken them from relegation threatened to play-off two candidates. So far this season the side have won nine, drawn eight and lost seven of their 24 games. They are one of the best defensive sides in the league, conceding just 25 goals. However, going forward they have struggled to be consistent, with just 25 goals scored. Sint-Truiden currently occupy the final play-off two spot.

There was also talk of looking for new investment. This comes just days after the club announced the renaming of the Stayen to the Daio Wasabi Stayen, following an agreement with Daio.
