Sevilla and Lazio target Millwall’s Dutch midfielder Zian Flemming

Sevilla and Lazio are interested in Millwall midfielder Zian Flemming, De Telegraaf reports. The Dutch attacking midfielder was a standout player in the Championship last season. He scored 15 goals and provided three assists for Millwall, who finished eighth in the English second tier.

Recently promoted Burnley have also been showing strong interest in Flemming. Vincent Kompany’s side recently offered €10m plus bonuses for the 24-year-old, but that didn’t meet Millwall’s reported asking price of around €15m. Now Sevilla and Lazio have joined the battle for the Amsterdam-born midfielder.

Millwall paid €1.8m to Fortuna Sittard for Flemming last summer. The amount could rise to €2.5m due to bonuses. Zian Flemming rose through the ranks in the Ajax youth academy and was bought by PEC Zwolle in 2018. After a loan spell with NEC Nijmegen, he joined Fortuna where he scored an incredible 27 goals and provided 11 assists in his 63 games for the club. Now, after a successful season with Millwall, he could be on the move once again.
