Selim Amallah set for Hertha Berlin instead of Real Valladolid

In a strange twist, it appears that the deal that was presumed done between Selim Amallah and La Liga side Real Valladolid was further apart than reported. Now, as Sacha Tavolieri is reporting, the Moroccan international looks set to move to Germany’s capital instead of Spain. Soon to be acquired by the same owners as Standard Liege, Hertha Berlin look set to swoop in and take the midfielder from Belgium.

Plenty of clubs have been linked with Amallah, such as Valencia and numerous English clubs, however it now appears that it will be Germany where the midfielder will finally move on to. Since refusing a new contract with Standard, the player has been absent from the first team and forced to train with the B team.

Standard are also set to lose Nicolas Raskin in the coming days, as it appears that he will finally make the move to Rangers. The clubs had been negotiating a fee after the player had passed medicals and agreed terms with the Scottish side.
