Second summer signing leaves Eupen as Jan Kral is loaned to FK Jablonec

Jan Kral, signed in the summer from Hradec Kralove, has left Eupen to join FK Jablonec on loan until the end of the season. The East Belgian side have not announced whether a purchase option is included, just stating that the player remains under contract with the club until 2025. Kral only made 8 appearances for the Pandas.

The side have also recently allowed Sambou Soumano to return to Lorient, bringing his loan deal to a premature end. Soumano played 8 games for Eupen, scoring once in a crazy 5-5 draw with fellow relegation strugglers Zulte Waregem.

Eupen are currently one place and one point above the relegation zone, having won just once in their last five games. This came against bottom side Seraing, but since then they have lost to Charleroi and Sint-Truiden at home. During the week they grabbed a draw against OH Leuven.

Eupen face league leaders Genk this weekend, who recently announced the signing of Anouar Ait El Hadj from Anderlecht.
