PSV’s Ricardo Pepi is reportedly on the radar of Arne Slot’s Liverpool. At least, that’s what both CaughtOffside and Voetbal Primeur claim.
The 21-year-old American, who is the second striker at PSV behind Luuk de Jong, has caught the eye of several big clubs in Europe.
The Reds are believed to be looking at attacking reinforcements as question marks surrounding Mohamed Salah’s contract situation, as well as Darwin Nunez’s capability, have arisen.
Liverpool have sent scouts out to watch Pepi’s matches on several occasions. ‘The scouts see Pepi as a good addition to the team because of his technical and mental qualities’, CO’s report reads. It remains to be seen whether Liverpool will actually go ahead with the signature of the USMNT attacker.
According to CaughtOffside, Pepi is also on the radar of Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid. ‘Pepi could be signed for around 25 million euros’, it is believed.
