Roberto Martinez is unbothered by Eden Hazard’s lack of playing time at Real Madrid, saying that he has a good mindset which is the most important thing.
Despite Karim Benzema being injured, Hazard has failed to make himself a regular in the Real Madrid starting XI this season, starting just twice.
Despite that, Martinez has no worries and no plans to drop the Belgian from his starting lineup, saying that the winger seems happy and motivated, even if not fully fit.
“Eden Hazard… I always get the same questions. Has he played enough, stuff like that?” he told Het Nieuwsblad.
“He misses minutes, that’s clear, but his mindset is good. He is looking forward to playing. Hazard exudes energy and happiness, I didn’t see that with him about six or seven months ago.
”Would he be able to play a full match? That will depend on the course of the game and the pace. But sixty minutes would be good.”
