Kramer and RKC Waalwijk reach an agreement on new contract

RKC Waalwijk have re-signed Michiel Kramer (36). The veteran striker signed a one-year contract on Thursday.

It took a while for clarity, but after Oskar Zawada left for FC Groningen, finances and selection spots were reshuffled so that there was room to keep Kramer. With Kramer, RKC hope to have an extra asset in their hunt for promotion to the Eredivisie.

Kramer has been involved since the start of pre-season and is now starting his fifth season at the club. So far at the Mandemakers Stadion club, Kramer has scored 34 goals in 109 appearances.

Previously, the charismatic journeyman forward has turned out for NAC Breda, FC Volendam, ADO Den Haag, Feyenoord, Sparta Rotterdam, Maccabi Haifa and Utrecht.
