Voetbalkrant are reporting that Real Sociedad are the latest side to show interest in signing Milan’s Charles De Ketelaere. The young Belgian is reportedly valued at €30m by Milan as they look to recoup what they paid Club Brugge to sign him a year ago. Sociedad are looking for an attacking midfielder as a long-term replacement for former Spanish international David Silva.
Other sides that are showing interest in the Belgian international include Aston Villa, PSV, Marseille and Atalanta, amongst others. PSV are the one side that has reportedly approached Milan about a transfer.
The 22-year-old has struggled in Italy, failing to score in 40 games and providing just one assist. Prior to his move, De Ketelaere had been the catalyst for Club Brugge winning their third league title in a row. He scored 14 goals in 39 games and provided eight assists. Overall, he made 120 appearances for Club Brugge, scoring 25 goals and providing 20 assists..
