PSV’s Pepi scores again and reaches CONCACAF Nations League semi-finals with USA

As ESPN NL reports, it’s been a hot run of form for Ricardo Pepi as he has now scored two goals in two games for his country.

The American goal-getter scored again last night against Jamaica, as the United States qualified for the semi-finals of the CONCACAF Nations League with an aggregate score of 5-2 after two matches.

The duel began with a slim lead for the USMNT, with Pepi scoring the only goal of the match in the first leg. He then found the net during the return match in St. Louis, instead making it 3-0 in a more commanding US performance that eventually ended 4-2.

Panama also qualified for the semi-finals of the CONCACAF Nations League at the expense of Costa Rica. Tonight, Canada and Suriname will play each other, with the score 1-0 in favor of the Canadians.

In Honduras against Mexico, the Mexicans will have to overcome a 2-0 margin on home soil.
