PSV forward Cody Gakpo has spoken to Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag about the possibility of joining the English club.
Gakpo has been linked with a move away from Eindhoven all summer with a number of Premier League clubs interested in signing him.
While Man Utd, Arsenal and Leeds have all harboured such interest though, Nottingham Forest have been the only ones to make an official bid.
However, it now looks like a move to Old Trafford is becoming a much more concrete possibility too with the Eindhoven Dagblad reporting that Gakpo has spoken to Ten Hag about doing just that.
It has been widely reported that the Dutchman would jump at the chance to become a Manchester United player, and with Ten Hag’s club being deterred by the asking price Ajax placed on Antony, it seems highly possible that he could get his wish before the end of the month.
