PSV’s Cody Gakpo and Ajax’s Antony top of Manchester United’s shortlist

PSV’s Cody Gakpo and Ajax’s Antony are at the top of Manchester United’s shortlist heading into the final few weeks of the transfer window.

With Erik ten Hag taking charge at Old Trafford this summer, two players – Tyrell Malacia and Lisandro Martinez – have already left the Eredivisie to play under him and various others have been of interest.

Ajax winger Antony has been linked the Red Devils more than anyone but the Amsterdam club’s high asking price has prevented them from signing him.

Nevertheless, Fabrizio Romano has reported that he remains a “priority target” for the English club, and the journalist has also stated that Gakpo is on their shortlist.

The PSV played has been linked to them and Arsenal, but Nottingham Forest are the only club to have made an official bid at the time of writing.

Both players are thought to be very interested in joining Man Utd, but PSV and Ajax won’t let them go for a small fee, with the Dutchman rumoured to have an asking price of €50 million and the Brazilian around €100 million.
