PSV to face Bodo/Glimt with depleted backline and no Ibrahim Sangare

Ibrahim Sangare as well as three important defenders will be unavailable for PSV’s final Europa League match with Bodo/Glimt.

Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side have already secured their place in the next round of the Europa League but can top their group if they win on Thursday and Arsenal don’t.

Claiming victory won’t be easy though with Bodo/Glimt going 14 European home matches unbeaten before they lost to Arsenal at the start of October.

The Dutch side’s task will be hard even harder by the fact that key player Sangare won’t be available due to illness, and he’s not the only one out, as per Eindhovens Dagblad.

The team’s backline will have to be reshuffled with Phillip Max and Jarrad Branthwaite, both of whom started against Arsenal last week, injured. What’s more, Max’s best replacement Mauro Junior, is also not fit enough for selection.

On the bright side, Yorbe Vertessen will be available after recovering from his injury faster than expected.
