According to Eindhovens Dagblad, PSV Eindhoven are interested in signing Sergiño Dest from Barcelona. According to the player’s management, PSV have registered their interest and could make either a loan or permanent move for the 22-year-old right-back.
Dest spent last season on loan at AC Milan, where he featured 14 times across all competitions. The US international defender spent two seasons in the Ajax first team before completing a €21m move to FC Barcelona in 2020. Dest struggled to impress in Spain. The versatile full-back featured 51 times in LaLiga before moving to Milan for a season.
There is a lot of interest in Sergiño Dest at the moment, and PSV are expected to make their move sometime soon. Dest was born in the Dutch city of Almere, which could make PSV a more attractive option for the player. If Dest were to move to the Philips Stadion, the likes of Shurandy Sambo and Phillipp Mwene could be heading for the exit door.
