Brentford have made an offer for Joey Veerman. PSV are currently considering the offer for the 26-year-old midfielder.
According to Voetbal Internationalโs Tim Reedijk, Brentford have had Veerman on their list all summer, but today have made a concrete approach, offering around โฌ30 million.
This bid could be subject to change, as the Eindhoven club wonโt let Veerman go easily, especially considering the impending closure of the transfer window.
Many alternatives may already be unavailable. The market closes Monday night in the major European leagues, with the Dutch window following 24 hours later.
Veerman is reportedly open to a move to the Premier League. The 16-cap Oranje international has been regularly linked with various foreign clubs in recent years, but so far, no transfer has materialised for the Volendam native.
