PSV put huge price tag on Dortmund and PSG transfer target Johan Bakayoko

According to De Telegraaf, PSV Eindhoven are anticipating the departure of Johan Bakayoko this summer, as several sides are set to approach the Eredivisie leaders for their Belgian star. PSV will only listen to offers in the region of €40-50m, as Bakayoko continues to perform at the Philips Stadion.

Johan Bakayoko is set to become the next winger after Donyell Malen, Cody Gakpo and Noni Madueke to move to one of Europe’s ‘major leagues’. The 20-year-old has netted 11 goals and provided 14 assists across all competitions this season, which is already a huge improvement on last seasons tally of 15 goal contributions. The Belgium international is currently under contract at PSV until 2026.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Borussia Dortmund had made contact with Johan Bakayoko’s entourage over the possibility of a move this summer. Paris Saint-Germain reportedly approached PSV for Bakayoko in January and last summer, but the player decided to stay put. Brentford were also in the race for the winger, previously offering around €40m for the player. The right winger is experiencing another exceptional season in Eindhoven and will almost certainly be on the move this summer.
