PSV predicted XI vs Arsenal

For the first time this season, Ruud van Nistelrooy will have all his key players fully fit and available when he picks his starting XI for the match with Arsenal.

The returns of Luuk de Jong, Noni Madueke and Phillip Max couldn’t come at a better time for the PSV manager, with the Dutch side able to take a big step towards the Europa League knockout rounds with a win over Arsenal.

Given the lack of strong alternatives up front, Van Nistelrooy is likely to give De Jong his first start since he picked up an injury in August.

Mauro Junior and Noni Madueke will probably stay on the bench for the time being though with Phillip Max starting at left-back and Xavi Simons at right-wing, allowing Erick Gutierrez to return in midfield.

However, if PSV find themselves behind at half-time, expect both players to be brought off the bench promptly.

Here’s how the team will most likely line up:

Benitez; Mwene, Ramalho, Obispo, Max; Sangaré, Gutiérrez, Veerman; Simons, De Jong, Gakpo.
