PSV midfielder Ibrahim Sangaré added to Bayern Munich’s list of possible transfer targets

According to Rik Elfrink, PSV Eindhoven midfielder Ibrahim Sangaré is on Bayern Munich’s list of possible transfer targets. The German champions are expected to open talks for the Ivorian midfielder, as a move away from the Philips Stadion this month remains very likely.

Sangaré has been a crucial player for PSV ever since he signed from Toulouse in 2020. The Dutch giants value the player at around €35-€40m, with four years remaining on his current contract. Several top sides have recently registered interest in the 25-year-old. Last month, Nottingham Forest were reportedly keen, but no progress was made by Steve Cooper’s side.

Last season Sangaré featured 45 times in all competitions as PSV finished second in the Eredivisie and lifted the KNVB Cup. Ibrahim Sangaré scored eight goals and provided three assists. PSV’s new head coach, Peter Bosz will be keen to keep the defensive midfielder at the club. However, if an offer comes in from Bayern Munich, it’s likely that the player will take the opportunity and leave.
