PSVโs Tygo Land is set to complete a temporary move to FC Groningen, the Eindhovens Dagblad report. The 19-year-old midfielder will be loaned out from PSV to the Pride of the North for the 2025/26 campaign.
Land was spotted in Zwolle earlier this week, yet a move to PEC doesnโt look to be materialising, as the Dutch youth international has signed a one-season contract with Groningen. According to the ED, PEC Zwolle and Groningen werenโt the only clubs eyeing Land, as newly-promoted FC Volendam were also in the running.
Land, who came through SC Heerenveenโs youth academy, joined PSV in 2022 at the age of 16. The midfielder is considered a promising prospect, but due to the fierce competition in Eindhovenโs midfield, his prospects of gametime are slim.
A loan move is in the best interest of all parties. So far, Land has played 11 official matches for PSV, providing two assists in the process.
