According to Voetbal International, PSV Eindhoven are interested in Sparta Rotterdam’s Tobias Lauritsen. The Norwegian striker joined Sparta last summer from Odds BK in Norway and has impressed during his first season in the Eredivisie. The 25-year-old has scored 13 goals in 32 games across all competitions this season.
Standing at 6 ft 4 in tall, Lauritsen has scored five goals with his head this season. His aerial presence makes him stand out from a number of other strikers in the Eredivisie. Lauritsen could be a brilliant addition to Ruud van Nistelrooy’s PSV squad if they fail to keep Fabio Silva, who’s on loan from Premier League club Wolves.
PSV are also said to be keen on utilising Shurandy Sambo in the first team next season. The 21-year-old right-back is currently out on loan at Sparta Rotterdam from PSV until the end of the season. When Sparta signed Sambo last summer, the option to permanently sign him at the end of the season was added to the contract. However, PSV have the choice to cancel this option to buy and it seems they’re planning to do so. The Netherlands U21 international has featured 27 times in the Eredivisie this season, providing him with the experience he’d need to compete for a starting spot at PSV.
