PSV fear Noa Lang will be out of action for a while due to hamstring injury

According to Voetbal International, PSV Eindhoven fear that Noa Lang will be unavailable for a while due to injury. The 24-year-old winger, who joined PSV from Club Brugge in the summer, will definitely miss out on this Saturday’s clash against Fortuna Sittard. It’s also expected that he’ll miss out on PSV’s Champions League clash against RC Lens as well as their league fixture with Ajax.

Lang injured his hamstring during his side’s 4-0 victory over Sparta Rotterdam before the international break. The former Ajax attacker was substituted just after the half hour mark. This led to his absence from the Dutch national team. Noa Lang has completed an individual training program during the break, but now it looks like he’ll need even longer to recover.

Despite Lang’s injury issues, head coach Peter Bosz has no shortage of players. Hirving Lozano is the likely candidate to replace Noa Lang in the lineup, but there’s a busy set of fixtures ahead for PSV. Two Champions League clashes against RC Lens and two league games, Ajax and Heracles await PSV, who currently sit at the top of the Eredivisie table after eight matches.
