PSV could be without key midfielder for clash with Go Ahead Eagles

PSV may be without key midfielder Joey Veerman on Friday evening for their clash with Go Ahead Eagles. As reported by De Telegraaf, the midfielder is suffering from a muscle injury ahead of the game. Head coach Peter Bosz had hoped that Veerman would not be on the sidelines for too long, but the fixture may just come to early for the 25-year-old. In 20 Eredivisie games this season Veerman has scored three goals and provided 11 assists.

Another player that might be absent is Ismael Saibari, who is also suffering from a muscle injury. The Moroccan international has played 16 league games this season, scoring five goals and providing four assists.

After the sides 2-2 draw with Feyenoord last weekend they remain top of the league by 10 points. Bosz will be hoping to recover both players ahead of Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League second leg against Dortmund in Germany. The sides are currently level at 1-1 after the first leg.
